ACreativeVision3
Empowering Youth in Special Education and Foster Care
Our Mission
ACreative Vision3 exists to empower, encourage, and educate youth in special education who have Individualized Education Plans (IEP’), as well as youth in foster care, by providing scholarships, resources, and opportunities for college and vocational success. We serve as a strong voice and advocate for these students, affirming that all children are capable of learning. Some simply learn differently than others. Through awareness, advocacy, and action, we seek to create a future where every child’s potential is recognized, nurtured, and celebrated.
Our Founder

Dr. Lawren Monroe
Founder & Executive Director, ACreative Vision3
Dr. Lawren Monroe is a dedicated youth advocate, experienced social worker, and visionary faith leader who has devoted her life to uplifting, empowering, and educating children and families—particularly youth in foster care and students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, she is the proud daughter of Pastor Dr. Mamie Bridgeforth and the late Deacon Lawrence Bridgeforth. She graduated from Vailsburg High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in Virginia, a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University, and later, a Ph.D. in Social Work and Administration with a concentration in Christian Counseling and Drug/Alcohol Prevention.

With over 36 years of professional experience, Dr. Monroe has been a licensed social worker in the state of New Jersey and has spent the past 26 years serving the youth of Newark at University High School. There, she has directly impacted more than 29,000 students and parents through counseling, education, mentoring, foster care support, and advocacy for students with learning differences. Her work focuses on helping children find their voice, access resources, and succeed both academically and personally, regardless of their background or learning style.

In September 2025, Dr. Monroe launched ACreative Vision3—a nonprofit organization designed specifically to support youth in foster care and students with IEPs. The organization offers scholarships, mentoring,
resources, and post-secondary planning to ensure these youth are not left behind. Under her leadership, ACreative Vision3 champions the belief that all children are capable of learning—some simply learn differently. The organization stands as a strong voice for educational equity and emotional support, bridging the gap between systems and students. Dr. Monroe’s passion for empowering youth extends far beyond the classroom. Through educational and spiritual retreats, she has led more than 2,500 at-risk and displaced youth—many in foster care—on life-changing experiences, including trips to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. These transformative moments give children a sense of belonging, hope, and joy, reminding them that their dreams are valid and achievable.

Her work is deeply rooted in her faith. Ordained in 2008, she currently serves as Co-Pastor and Church Administrator of Chosen Generation Ministries in Newark, NJ, alongside her husband, Senior Pastor Darrin Monroe. She has developed several impactful ministry programs, including:
-
Project Reconnect – Supporting youth and adults re-entering society post-incarceration.
-
REACH Outreach Ministry – Offering spiritual and practical support to shelters, prisons, and halfway houses.
-
Chosen G.E.M.S. Women’s Ministry – Mentoring young women and mothers in emotional and spiritual wellness.

To date, Dr. Monroe has directly supported more than 3,300 survivors of domestic violence and over 7,700 individuals returning from incarceration—many of whom are youth or parents of youth in crisis. She is also a published author, co-authoring The Cross We Bear in 2014, a collection of powerful testimonies from women in ministry.

In her role as a trainer, consultant, and speaker, Dr. Monroe provides essential workshops for youth and educators on topics such as conflict resolution, suicide prevention, bullying, self-worth, and social-emotional development—always centering the needs of vulnerable children.

Dr. Lawren Monroe lives in Warren County, New Jersey, with her husband and ministry partner, Pastor Darrin Monroe. They are the proud parents of four children—Stephanie, Aaron, Rose, and Trinity—and grandparents to their cherished grandson, Xavier Cole.

Her life’s mission can be summed up in Isaiah 61:1: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because He hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted...”
And her daily prayer remains:
“Lord, let someone I come in contact with today see Jesus Christ in me, that they may desire to be saved.”
